There were a bunch of digger be mounds found near the back deck of this home in Fair Haven, NJ.
Lots of Digger Bees in the Backyard
As soon as we stepped into the backyard, we found a massive amount of digger bees and their mounds throughout the area.
Digger Bee Info
Digger bee nests are commonly located in areas of the landscape where the grass is sparse or very thin. Once you see little mounds of soil with a hole nearby (or on top of it) you have a digger bee infestation. Although the venom from a digger bee sting is strong enough to cause a severe allergic reaction in some people, they are very non-aggressive and usually only sting if they are being stepped on and grabbed roughly.
First Comes the Dusting
We're going to inject a residual dusting application in each one of the digger bee mounds.
Now for the Granular Bait
After that, we will apply a granular bait to each one of the digger bee colonies. These treatments are going to quickly exterminate the digger bees.
