Pests We Treat Photo Album: Mice Roaming Around the Crawl Space & the Attic in New Egypt, NJ
Saturated with Urine & Feces
As we inspected the attic we noticed that almost all of the insulation was saturated with urine and feces from the mice.
Health & Safety Hazard
We also noticed that several of the wires on the attic had chew marks on them. So not only were the mice creating a health hazard for the family, but also a fire hazard!
Just the Right Size
As we inspected the crawl space, we found more mice feces scattered throughout the area and also noticed several crawl space vents. To the homeowner, they appeared to sealed off properly, but in reality, they still had several openings the width of pencil in them. That may seem too small, but it's just the right size for mice to squeeze through!
Traveling Up
The mice were getting into the crawl space and making their way all the way up to the attic!
Mice Set Up
We installed a number of rodent bait stations throughout the attic, the crawl space, and in several locations around the exterior of the home. Once we were finished we schedule several return visits with the owner to monitor the infestation and replenish the bait stations as needed. Once the mice are gone, our Attic & Crawl Space division is going to come out and properly remove and replace all of the insulation throughout the attic and crawl space.
