Pests We Treat - All About Carpenter Bees

The female carpenter bee finds soft wood, such as a facia board on house gables, where she makes a 1/2 inch circular hole large enough for her body to fit through. The female carpenter bee then makes a 90 degree turn creating chambers with a solitary egg placed in each chamber. Meanwhile the male carpenter bee flies outside protecting the female from predators.
