Pests We Treat Photo Album: Mice Sneaking Snacks in the Attic in Lakewood, NJ
The mice were bringing their food in this customer's attic in Lakewood, NJ.
A Bunch of Droppings
As we inspected the attic we found a lot of mice droppings and their tunnels throughout the insulation.
Lots of Mice Tunnels
Mice can create holes and tunnels in insulation to build nests. These tunnels can compromise insulation's effectiveness and create pathways for mice to move around the home.
Bringing Their Food Up
When we moved the insulation over, we found a bunch of acorn shells. Turns out the mice were bringing their food up to the area and having a feast.
Setting Up Rodent Bait Stations
We installed a number rodent bait stations throughout the attic. When were done we then installed some more bait stations in several locations around the exterior of the home. Lastly, we scheduled several follow up visits to monitor the mice activity, replenish the bait in the rodent bait stations, and seal up any openings around and inside of the home that the mice are using to infest the property.
