Kitchen Gets Taken Over by Cockroaches in Matawan, NJ
Challenge
This property manager in Matawan, NJ had a severe cockroach infestation in one of his units. They were everywhere in the kitchen!
Solution
We treated all the harborage areas with a residual application that’s combined with an EPA registered insect growth regulator throughout the kitchen and other harborage areas. This affects the cockroaches' reproductive system and prevents them from reaching adulthood. After that was finished, we applied a gel bait to all the gaps, crevices, and cracks throughout the kitchen. The cockroaches will be attracted to this treatment and begin to feast on it. A short while later, they’ll be eliminated.
Lastly, we will install some monitoring devices throughout the kitchen and then schedule several follow-up visits to monitor the infestation and, if required, apply any additional treatments.
