Hidden Well in the Bush is a Bald-Faced Hornets Nest in Metuchen, NJ

This homeowner in Metuchen, NJ was mowing his lawn one warm, sunny afternoon when he was suddenly attacked by a number of angry bald-faced hornets! After getting stung multiple times he ran inside and called Cowleys. We were sent out to investigate and treat.

When we arrived, we equipped our protective bee suit and starting inspecting the area where the owner was attacked. A short while after searching, we spotted the basketball sized nest! We then injected a knockdown aerosol application, waited a few moments, and then treated the nest with a knockdown liquid product. Both of these treatments will exterminate the bald-faced hornets quickly. After several moments had passed we removed the nest, and the branch it was attached to, and properly disposed of them.
