Pavement ants, also known as the small house ant, have a knack for finding entry points around the home, especially in kitchens and bathrooms.
It doesn't take much of an opening for a small ant to enter your home, so a thorough inspection is always required to determine their trails and the direction they are traveling. Once the direction of travel is established, I look for tiny openings, mainly under baseboards, electrical outlets, and window frames.
To resolve this ant infestation, I apply a light chemical application to the ant trail and entry points with a non repellent compound. This will eliminate the ant issue within about 2 weeks. This timeframe allows the ants to carry the compound back to their nest where they will spread it amongst the colony, causing its demise.
