All Over the Storage Room
Throughout the entire storage room of this restaurant, was a plethora of fruit flies.
Spilled Liquids to Dirty Floors
What attracted them to the business? The poor sanitation! There were several piles of spilled alcohol and soft drinks throughout the area, several bus buckets filled with dirty dishes, dirt & other food debris pilled behind and on top of kitchen equipment, and a number of the drains and floor drains were clogged and full of debris.
Mold on the Walls
There was even found growing on the walls and on the pipes! We told the owner and the managerial staff immediately. They all agreed that a new cleaning protocol must be instituted and that they need to contact our Mold Solutions division to get rid of the mold growth.
Get Rid of the Fruit Flies
To get rid of the fruit flies, we applied a liquid application in all the floor drains and then scrubbed them out with our heavy-duty brush. This will remove the breeding area for the fruit flies. Once we finished with that, we applied a bio-foam solution that is going to remove the organic build-up, odors, and scum inside the drains.
One More Treatment
Next, we treated the high infested areas with a fly bait to control the adult fruit flies that were still flying around. In a short amount of time, the fruit flies will be neutralized.
