Checking on the Sentricon® Stations
Previously, we installed a number of Sentricon® termite bait stations around this commercial business, and we're back to check up on them and replenish them.
Chomped On by Termites
That's when we found one of the stations that was getting devoured by the termites! When the termites come in contact with the Sentricon® bait system, they eat the cellulose material, unknowingly consuming an insect growth inhibitor. The termites then go on to share this "food" with their colony members.
They Ingest a Growth Inhibitor
The growth inhibitor then takes over and prevents the termites from being able to molt. If they cannot molt, then the colony is eliminated. A New Bait Installed
We're now going to replenish the bait in this station as well as every other Sentricon® station around the property.
