During our inspection, we found some bed bugs underneath the mattress encasement, but even more on top of it!
Improperly Installed
Turns out that the homeowner didn't install it properly, which made the infestation worse and the bed bugs spread to other areas of the bedroom and in the other room!
Vacuum the Infested Areas
For treatment, we vacuumed up all the live bed bugs and their eggs on the mattress, headboard, recliner, end tables, and outlets. Next, we treated those areas with a fungicide application. This is going to create a barrier that'll infect and quickly exterminate the bed bugs.
Last Few Treatments for the Bed Bugs
Once that was finished, we treated every single outlet throughout the bedroom, the guest room, and the hallway with a residual dusting product. The residual application is going to target bed bugs of all life stages, sex, and feeding status and neutralize them quickly. Finally, we scheduled a number of return visits to, if needed, apply any additional treatments until the bed bugs are gone for good.
