As we inspected, we noticed a decent amount of droppings by the dishwasher. So we moved the dishwasher to take a closer look...
..and found a large number of mice droppings underneath it!
Costly for the Owner
A number of the wires had been chewed by the mice. Unfortunately, a number of the wires were in such bad shape that the homeowner will had to replace the dishwasher.
Hole in the Wall
We also noticed that there was a large hole in the wall behind the dishwasher that lead outside. This was how the mice were able to infest the home.
Another in the Crawl Space
We also found another hole in the crawl space. Until both the openings are repaired by a contractor, we stuffed both of them with chew-proof stainless steel mesh and then sealed them with a premium, waterproof adhesive.
We also placed several interior and exterior rodent bait stations by the high infestation areas in and around the home. We will return for several follow-up visits to replenish the bait stations and monitor the infestation.
