We noticed the flies were hovering around a particular floor drain, and as we took a closer look, we identified them as drain flies and noticed a buildup of food debris and gunk inside the drain that they were harboring in.

Continuing our inspection, we found another floor drain that was filled with food debris and, you guessed it, more drain flies!

We spoke to the owner and informed him that drain flies love to breed inside dirty drains and that cleaning on a regular basis could prevent these pests from infesting his restaurant.

We then scrubbed out all the drains in the area and treated them with a liquid product that removes the bad bacteria, which is the breeding ground for the drain flies.

Next, we treated the drains with a bio-foam solution that eliminates all fly-attracting odors. Now that the floor drains have been cleaned and with a new sanitation protocol in place, the owner will no longer have any issues with drain flies.
