As I was inspecting exterior perimeter of the home, I spotted some carpenter ants crawling by a downed tree, so I decided to investigate.
I noticed the carpenter ants were trailing in and out of the cracks and voids of tree. I began prodding and BINGO! Found a massive amount of carpenter ants inside the tree!
Fortunately, these wood-destroying pests didn't make inside the home, but if left alone, it is only a matter of time until they do!
I applied a residual dusting product to all the voids and cracks of the tree.
This product will entirely coat the ants. They'll then transfer it throughout their entire colony by grooming each other or eating their dead.
This ensures rapid extermination of the entire carpenter ant colony.
During a routine service of a home in Neptune, NJ I came across a hidden carpenter ant infestation.
