As I was walking back to my truck, I noticed a small moving pile of ants on the side of the driveway.
I informed the homeowner who told me that she had been seeing ants all over the outside of her home. Sure enough, I inspected and found several ant trails throughout the driveway. With her permission, I inspected the inside of her home, but didn't find any signs of ants.
I applied a granular bait along the landscape beds and the main nest. I also treated the entire exterior of the home with a non-repellant residual.
When the ants come in contact with either products, they bring it back to their nest and share it with one another. The treatments then rapidly spread throughout the entire colony, and in no time at all, the ants are exterminated.
While treating a home in Lanoka Harbor, NJ for hornets, I stumbled upon a large group of ants on the side of the driveway.
