As I began treating the basement, I noticed something interesting - cellar spiders! They were all over the basement! These creepy crawlers are are usually dull in color, less than 0.5 inches in length, and are mistaken for daddy longlegs.
In addition to the many spider webs found in the basement, there were scores of dead cellar spiders hanging in the webs. They were down in the basement for so long that they completely lost their color. They looked like the face huggers from the movie Alien.
I proceeded to take a broom to whisk and remove every single spider web and spider from in between the beams.
After removing all the dead spiders and spider webs, I applied a dusting application into each harbor area as well as a liquid treatment in all the cracks and crevices. Here's to another satisfied customer of Cowleys.
Recently, I went out on a service call for a new homeowner in Rumson, NJ who wanted a preemptive pest treatment done to his home before he moved in.
