Lots of Grease & Cockroaches

There was so much grease built up all over the kitchen equipment and other areas. Not only that, crawling around the kitchen equipment was a bunch of cockroaches.

Floor Drains Full of Fruit Flies

Additionally, almost all of the floor drains were full of debris and fruit flies. We showed the owner and told them that a new cleaning protocol must be enforced in order to prevent pest issues. We were very happy that they agreed and began removing and disposing all of the contaminated items throughout the area so that we can begin our treatment.

Attack the Cockroaches First

First, we targeted the cockroaches and applied a residual application that is combined with an EPA registered insect growth regulator throughout the kitchen and other harborage areas. This is going to affect the cockroaches' reproductive system and prevent them from reaching adulthood. Next, we applied a knockdown aerosol product to every single crack, crevice, appliance, and baseboard throughout the kitchen. This product flushes the cockroaches out of hiding, into the growth regulator, and rapidly neutralizes them.

Now Target the Fruit Flies

Once all of that was done, we focused on the fruit flies and treated all of the floor drains and sinks with a liquid application. This product is going to eliminate the bad bacteria inside the drains - which is what the fruit flies breed in. Once that's eliminated, so will the fruit flies.

We Shall Return

After that, we applied a bio-foam solution in all of the floor drains. This is going to remove all of the organic build-up, odors, and scum inside the drains as well as eliminate the fruit flies and their larvae. After all that was done, we installed a number monitoring devices throughout the area and scheduled several return visits to keep an eye on the fruit fly & cockroach infestations and, if necessary, apply some additional treatments.
