Pests We Treat Photo Album: Shed Full of Active Carpenter Ants in Bradley Beach, NJ
We were sent out to a home in Bradley Beach, NJ to treat for carpenter ants in the shed.
Frass on the Floor
As we inspected the shed we found an abundance of frass (sawdust) on the floor. This is one of the tell-tale signs of a carpenter ant infestation.
Near the Top Corner
Continuing our inspection we noticed that a few carpenter ants were emerging from a small opening in the top corner of the door. We injected a flushing aerosol application into the void and the carpenter ants came spilling out!
More Treatments for Carpenter Ants
We also injected a residual dusting application into that void as well as any opening throughout the shed. We then treated the interior of the shed with a liquid residual and the entire exterior of the home with that same treatment.
Carpenter Ants Have No Idea
The worker carpenter ants will come across these products and bring them back to their nest to share with their queen and the other ants. They have no idea that they're actually transferring treatments that will exterminate their entire colony in a short amount of time.
