Two In-Ground Yellow Jacket Nests Found in West Windsor, NJ

Challenge

As this customer in West Windsor, NJ was doing some yard work, he was suddenly surrounded and attacked by a number of yellow jackets. Since he is a Home Protection Plan customer, he called our office and we were sent out. As we inspected the area where the owner was attacked, we spotted not just one but two in-ground yellow jacket nests!

Solution

We injected each one of the nests with a knockdown dusting product followed by a knockdown aerosol application. Both of these treatments are designed to neutralize the yellow jackets quickly. A short while after treating the nests, we dug both of them up, disposed of the properly, and filled in the burrows.
