Closing Rodent Entry Point in Sewaren, NJ

This business owner in Sewaren, NJ had rats in the bottom level of his business, so he called Cowleys for help! First, we examined the exterior of the property to determine the point of entry. After a few moments, we found it - an open and exposed exhaust vent!

We stuffed chew-proof copper mesh around the exhaust vent and then installed a DryerWallVent® over it. The DryerWallVent® is made out of heavy-duty galvanized steel and its large opening and angled damper provide maximum airflow efficiency for safe venting. Integrated magnets keep the damper closed when not in use, preventing rodents, birds, insects, and bats from entering the property through this area.

After that we installed several rodent bait stations around the exterior of the building and in several locations in the inside of the bottom level of the business. We will come back to replenish the bait inside the bait stations until the rodents are no longer infesting the property.
