Carpenter Bees Love the Outdoor Bar in Lavallette, NJ
During a spring service treatment for a Home Protection Plan customer in Lavallette, NJ we spotted several carpenter bees boring into the outdoor wooden bar. Carpenter bees drill perfectly circular 1/2 holes in wooden structures to create their galleries (nests). You can spot their galleries by the drill holes, the pile of frass beneath it, or the yellow fecal stains below the hole.
For treatment, we injected a residual dusting application into each one of the drill holes in the outdoor bar. This treatment will exterminate the carpenter bees and leave behind a residual that will neutralize any carpenter bees that return to the areas as well as newly hatched carpenter bees inside the galleries.
