The squirrels had chewed into the home right here and made their way into the attic!
Chewed on the Rodent Bait
The squirrels had even chewed right into our rodent bait stations! They "kicked out" all of the mice in the attic...
Set Up to Retrieve the Squirrels
...and made the area their new home. We installed a two-gaited heavy-duty device over the access point and temporarily enclosed the area with hardware cloth.
Got Them!
We also set up a number of bait devices nearby. A short time later, we successfully retrieved all of the squirrels and took them to a new humane location. We then disinfected the attic and installed sturdy metal flashing over the access point.
