Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Securing the Home from Raccoons in Sea Girt, NJ
Ridge-Guard®
First, we installed Ridge-Guard®, which is going to secure and reinforce the ridge vent shingles, in order to prevent raccoons, flying squirrels, and bats from entering the home through that area.
Covers for the Attic Fans
For the attic fans, we installed an attic fan cover over them. The attic fan covers are made of heavy-duty 18 Gauge expanded Galvannealed steel mesh and will prevent all nuisance wildlife from gaining access through these areas.
Blending In
We then installed sturdy metal flashing over all of the access points.
And Finally, Pest-Blok
Finally, we installed Pest-Blok over the gable vent. Pest-Blok doesn't restrict the airflow, undergoes a silicone-protected polyester coating process that makes it last longer, and guards the gable vent against raccoons, squirrels, bats, and all nuisance wildlife. Now the home is properly excluded from nuisance wildlife.
