Positive Procedure

To safely retrieve the groundhogs, we installed a positive set over each one of the burrows around the shed.

Effective Retrieval

A positive set is a device that's comprised of a nose cone that is attached to a two-gaited, heavy-duty device. The nose cone will guide the groundhogs safely into the heavy-duty device. It's called a positive set, because we are positive that the groundhogs will enter the devices!

Now Comes Dig Defense®

We then installed Dig Defense® around the entire perimeter of the shed. Dig Defense® is a below-ground fence system that is 15 inches deep, 4 feet across, and protects structures against all wildlife!

Relocate The Groundhogs

Once we retrieve the groundhogs, we're going to relocate them to a new, humane environment, fill in all the burrows, and then install another portion of Dig Defense® over the burrows by the shed.
