Squirrels Chew Their Way Into the Living Room in Holmdel, NJ
Challenge
A new customer in Holmdel, NJ called our office after finding a squirrel chewing through a corner of her soffit, which lead right into the living room ceiling! When we started inspecting the area, we discovered that there was more than one squirrels infesting the home!
Solution
In order to safely remove the squirrels from the home, we installed a multi-catch device over the main access point and temporarily enclosed it with hardware cloth. This device is designed to safely retrieve multiple squirrels without having to reset the device. We also placed several baited devices nearby.
Once we safely retrieve all the squirrels, we will relocate them to a new, humane environment, disinfect the area, and install metal flashing over the access point to prevent reinfestation.
