The shed was elevated and completely wide open.

Plenty of Access Points

There were plenty of access areas...

Groundhogs Can Enter

...for the groundhogs to enter. After setting up our retrieval devices, we successfully & safely retrieved all of the groundhogs and took them to a new humane location.

Replaced the Trim

Now we're going to properly exclude the groundhogs from the shed! First, we installed a new wooden trim for the upper sections of the shed.

Then Comes Dig Defense®

Once that was done, we installed Dig Defense® around the entire perimeter of the shed. Dig Defense® is a below-ground fence system that is 15 inches deep, 4 feet across, and protects structures against all wildlife!

New Lattice

Lastly, we installed a new and sturdy lattice around the entire perimeter of the shed to properly close off all the open areas.

Shed is Secured

Now the shed is properly excluded from groundhogs and all other nuisance wildlife.
