Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Safely Removing Squirrels from the Attic in Hillsborough, NJ

After locating the main access point, I installed a one-way and temporarily enclosed the area off with hardware cloth and metal flashing.

A one-way is designed to allow the squirrels to safely exit the area, but prevent them from getting back in.

I placed tape at the end of the one-way in order to properly monitor the activity.

I also placed several baited devices nearby.

Once the squirrels have been safely retrieved, I'll relocate them to a new humane location, disinfect the attic area, and seal up the access point with sturdy, metal flashing.
