Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Bats leave mess in Beachwood attic

Album Description

These Beachwood homeowners had a colony, or cloud, of bats nesting in their attic for quite a while. Although there was no longer an active bat infestation. the bats left behind a toxic mess of guano (bat droppings). Although bats are individually small creatures, bat colonies can be quite large, containing hundreds of bats. Because of their numbers, large quantities of guano can quickly accumulate. Bat guano resembles rodent droppings and tends to cluster in areas as it piles up beneath the exit of the roost or under eaves and overhands. Bat guano is often shiny, speckled because of their insect diet. The homeowners contacted Cowleys to clean up
