Bat Cone Set Up
The bats were getting into the home through the static vents, attic vents, and the ridge vent. So we installed a vents covers over all of the static and attic vents except for one of them. For that one we attached a bat cone to the vent cover and installed it over the static vent. The bat cone will allow the bats to safely leave the area but prevent them from getting back in.
For the Ridge Vents
We then installed Ridge-Guard® over the ridge vents.
Vent Covers Are Sturdy
The vent covers are made out of heavy-duty 18 Gauge expanded Galvannealed steel mesh and will not only prevent bats from entering the home, but other nuisance wildlife too.
What's Ridge-Guard® Do?
Ridge-Guard® will secure and reinforce the ridge vent shingles, in order to prevent the bats from entering the home through that area.
All Bats Are Gone
After a short period of time, all the bats were removed safely from the home. We then cleaned up the area and installed one more vent cover over the main access point. Now the home is excluded from bats.
