Raccoon Take Advantage of the Renovations in Kingston, NJ
Challenge
We were sent out to a condominium association in Kingston, NJ to retrieve a raccoon that had infested the attic of one of the units. When we arrived, we noticed that the unit was partially under renovation and one of the windows to the attic was under construction and was badly damaged. Turns out, the raccoon had ripped apart the framing of the window and made their way into the attic.
Solution
To safely retrieve the raccoon, we installed a nose cone directly over the access point, attached a two-gaited heavy-duty device to it, and then temporarily enclosed the device with hardware cloth. We also set up a few retrieval devices nearby.
Once we safely retrieve the raccoon, we will take it to a safer location and the contractor will install the new window and secure it in place.
