Open Dryer Vent is an Invitation for Squirrel in Tinton Falls, NJ

This homeowner in Tinton Falls, NJ had a unique problem. A squirrel was getting into his home by squeezing through one of his exposed dryer vents on the outside of his property! In order to safely retrieve the squirrel we installed a one-way device over the dryer vent, temporarily enclosed the area off with hardware cloth, and set up a number of baited devices nearby. A one-way device is a device that will allow the squirrel to leave the area safely, but prevent it from getting back in. A short while after setting up our devices, we had successfully retrieved the squirrel!
