While examining the property we came across hundreds of termite swarmers all over the playset.

Termite Swarmers: What Are They?

Termite swarmers are winged adult reproductives in which termite colonies send out in search of a hospitable area. Unlike other termites in a colony, swarmers are attracted to light.

Same Length

Termite swarmers have two pairs of wings that are the same length (which is how you tell the difference between them and other pest swarmers). Their antennae are straight, opposed to ants that have bent antennae, and their waist section is also not pinched like ants.

Proactive Termite Treatment

With the owner's permission, we drilled around the exterior of the home and injected a liquid termiticide. This application is going to create a protective zone that is undetectable to the termites. They'll go about their busy, come in contact with the termiticide, bring it back to their nest, and then transfer it throughout their colony. The termiticide then quickly spreads throughout their entire colony. In short amount of time, any and all termites will be exterminated and the home will be protected from termites for many years.
