We noticed a large wood pile in the backyard and decided to take a look at it. When we did, we found a large amount of subterranean termites throughout the pile.

Why They're Bad Nes

Subterranean termites can cause the most damage of any termite species. These termites build distinctive tunnels, often referred to as "mud tubes," to reach food sources and protect themselves from open air. They eat wood 24 hours a day, seven days a week, using their saw-toothed jaws to bite off small fragments of wood one piece at a time. Over time, subterranean termites can critically damage a building structure, sometimes causing a total collapse.

Throw it Away

With the owner's permission, we carefully disposed of all the wood and then treated the entire exterior of the home with a liquid termiticide.

A Strong, Protective Zone

This termiticide create a protective zone that is undetectable to the termites. If they are any termites present, they'll come in contact with it, bring it back to their nest, and then transfer it throughout their colony. The termiticide then spreads rapidly throughout their entire colony. In short amount of time, any and all termites will be exterminated and the home will be protected from termites for many years.
