Hardwood Flooring Damaged by Termites in Pine Beach, NJ
Challenge
We were sent out to a property in Pine Beach, NJ to handle a potential termite issue in the living room. When we arrived and inspected the area, we noticed that several pieces of the hardwood floor were severely damaged by termites. Not only that, but (with the owner's permission) once we removed the damaged pieces, we found a ton of worker termites!
Solution
We treated the worker termites directly with a foaming termiticide. Once we were finished with that, we injected a liquid version of the termiticide around the entire exterior perimeter of the home. Both versions of the termiticide create a protective zone that is undetectable to the termites. These wood-destroying pests will come in contact with the termiticide, bring it back to their nest, and then transfer it throughout their colony.
The termiticide then spreads rapidly throughout their entire colony. In short amount of time, any and all termites will be exterminated and the home will be protected from these wood-destroying insects for many years.
