Bed Bugs Found in the Headboard and on the Floor in Little Silver, NJ
Challenge
Recently, we were sent out to a home in Little Silver, NJ to treat for bed bugs in the master bedroom. As soon as we began inspecting the room, we found hundreds of these pests in the mattress, the headboard, the bed frame, and even on the hardwood floor and in the corners of the bedroom! Just cause they're called "bed" bugs doesn't mean that the only harbor in a bed. These pests are expert hitchhikers and will reside anywhere that has easy access to a blood meal.
Solution
We will start our treatment process by first vacuuming up every single bed bug and their egg. Once we are done, we will apply a fungicide application to the headboard, bed frame, mattress, the baseboards, cracks, and crevices throughout the bedroom. This product creates a strong barrier that is going to infect and exterminate the bed bugs quickly. After that, we will apply residual dusting product to every single outlet throughout the home, as a precaution. This targets bed bugs of all life stages, sex, and feeding status, and neutralizes them. Once we are all done, we will schedule several follow-up inspections to monitor the bed bug activity and apply any additional treatments if needed.
