Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Bats Entering Attic Through Rustic Gable Vents in Metuchen, NJ
Here's how we will safely remove and exclude the bats from this property in Metuchen, NJ.
They Got in Right Here
The bats were able to infest the attic by squeezing through the gable vent.
Over Here Too
There was also two other gable vents on each side of the chimney that the bats were also utilizing to enter the home. We installed a bat cone over each of the gable vents and then temporarily enclosed the areas off with hardware cloth. The bat cones will allow the bats to leave the home safely but prevent them from getting back in.
Now That the Bats Are Gone
A short while later we successfully evicted all of the bats out of the attic! We then disinfected the entire area and installed a louvered vent guard over each of the gable vents. We also custom painted them black to blend in with the existing color scheme.
Why It's So Sturdy
The louvered vent guard is made out of heavy-duty Galvannealed steel, which means that not only is it durable, but it also won't rust. Additionally, it is customized to accommodate vents of all shapes and sizes and properly secures the area from not just bats, but all nuisance wildlife and birds too.
