Wildlife Removal Photo Album: Putting an End to Foxes Nesting Under the Deck in Bradley Beach, NJ
Lot of Exposed Areas
There were an number of areas that the foxes used to harbor underneath the deck. So to stop this from happening, we dug down and installed a hardware cloth barrier under ground around the entire perimeter of the deck to exclude the foxes.
Sturdy Barrier in the Shape of an L
The hardware cloth is installed 12 inches deep and 12 inches out from the bottom of the shed and creates a sturdy "L shaped" perimeter that will prevent the foxes, and other nuisance wildlife, from burrowing and nesting underneath the area.
New Lattice in Multiple Areas
Once that was completed we installed a new and sturdy lattice to properly close off all the open areas around the deck.
Left an Area Open
We left an access point open and installed a one-way device over that area. This will allow the foxes to leave the area safely but prevent them from getting back in.
Properly Excluded
Once we retrieve the foxes, we will take them to a new & safer location and close up that one access point in order to properly exclude the deck.
