Bird Control Services Photo Album: Starling Flies Into the Kitchen in Beachwood, NJ
This starling wanted to drop in for a quick meal!
Flew into Kitchen Hood
The starling had flew into the kitchen hood vent and could not get out. It was actually trapped down by the microwave!
Exposed Exhaust Vent
The starling had entered the home by flying right into this exposed exhaust vent.
Disassemble & Disinfest
We disassembled the vent pipe, safely removed the starling, and disinfected the pipe. We then reassembled it...
Secure it in Place
...and placed some metal tape on the top and bottom to secure it in place.
DryerWallVent® Stops the Birds
Lastly we installed a DryerWallVent® over the exhaust vents. The DryerWallVent® is made out of heavy-duty galvanized steel and its large opening and angled damper provide maximum airflow efficiency for safe venting. Integrated magnets keep the damper closed when not in use, preventing birds, pests, bats, and all nuisance wildlife from infesting the home.
