Bird Control Services Photo Album: Putting an End to the Birds Roosting in the Loading Dock in Bayville, NJ
The birds were creating a severe hazard for the workers in this loading dock in Bayville, NJ
Bird Spikes
First, we removed all of the nesting debris and then disinfected every single harborage area with a solution that targets bird mites. After that, we installed bird spikes on the utility pipes. Bird spikes are a physical deterrent that will prevent the nuisance birds from landing on these areas. Preventing them from landing on these areas is an important and crucial step in bird deterrence. The bird spikes offer an effective and humane deterrent for all nuisance birds.
Begin the Installation
Next, we began installing the bird netting.
Anchoring Into the Walls
In order make sure the bird netting is secured, we used stainless steel cable with net spikes and anchored it into the walls. We then locked the cables in place using copper ferrules and then installed turnbuckles which tighten the cable.
Humanely Block the Birds
Bird netting is a 3/4 inch, heavy duty polyethylene bird netting that's used to humanely block the birds from entering any unwanted areas. It creates an impenetrable barrier that denies them access to the loading dock and removes the landing areas for them.
They'll Move Along
The birds will fly around, realize they can't enter, and move on.
Blends Right In
As an added bonus, the bird netting is almost invisible, unless you take a real close look at it. Now nuisance birds will no longer be able to roost in the loading dock and the workers can now work in a safer environment.
