Just Hanging Out
As you can see, the nuisance birds were roosting on the concrete beams. Not only were they causing a huge mess, but also defecating on the workers and causing a slip, trip, and fall hazard for them!
Nesting in the Small Openings on the Exterior
We also discovered a number of the nuisance birds nesting in several small gaps on the outside of the parking garage.
Disinfect & Eliminate the Bird Mites
First, we removed all of the nesting debris and then disinfected every single harborage area with a solution that targets bird mites. Bird mites are semi-transparent parasites that feed on the blood of birds and are the main reason why extreme care is needed when removing a nuisance birds nest.
Bird Slope
Once that was finished, we installed Bird Slope on each piece of concrete beam. Bird Slope is a physical bird deterrent used to block birds from landing or nesting on open ledges. It's unique angled design makes it impossible for birds to land or nest in 90° areas such as ledges, window sills, or eaves making it an effective bird deterrent against all nuisance birds.
For the Exterior Gaps
Once that was finished, we installed Pest-Blok in the gaps and crevices on the exterior of the parking garage.
Access Denied
Pest-Blok doesn't restrict the airflow to the area, undergoes a silicone-protected polyester coating process that makes it last longer, and effectively guards the area against nuisance birds, bats, and all nuisance wildlife.
