The sea gulls were flying around this customer's dock...

Poop Ruining the Boat & Dock

...and defecating all over the dock and the customer's boat awning. Seagull poop causes severe damage to boat awnings and canvas by utilizing highly acidic compounds that eat away at fabric fibers, leading to premature deterioration, structural damage, and costly replacements. It creates permanent, unsightly grey/white stains, degrades waterproof coatings, and can cause rot by retaining moisture.

Begin the Installation

In order to properly exclude the area, we had to rent a portable floating dock to make sure all ares are properly excluded.

Eagle Eye & Bird Spikes

So we installed an Eagle Eye bird deterrent and bird spikes on top of the boat lift.

Eagle Eye Does What

The light spectrum reflected back by the Eagle Eye disorient birds in flight by limiting their vision significantly. This causes the bird to deviate in flight and fly to another destination.

The Bird Spikes

Bird spikes are a physical deterrent that will prevent the nuisance birds from landing on these areas. Preventing them from landing on these areas is an important and crucial step in bird deterrence. The bird spikes offer an effective and humane deterrent for all nuisance birds.

Installing GridTwine

We're also installing GridTwine on top of the 4 posts of the boat lift.

Interrupt Sea Gulls Flight Pattern

This creates a "no-fly zone" that disrupts the sea gulls landing and foraging behavior. It is also an effective, humane, and professional method to deter them from the area.

Properly Excluded

Now the sea gulls are excluded from the area.
