Blown-In Cellulose Insulation Added to Attic in Fair Haven, NJ

Challenge

This customer in Fair Haven, NJ wanted to add new blown-in cellulose insulation to his attic space. So he contacted our office and several members of our Attic Systems division came out.

Solution

First, we took out all of the old and dirty insulation and then properly disposed of them. Next, we air sealed all the gaps and cracks throughout the attic. Air sealing eliminates the air flow between the living space and the attic and greatly improves energy efficiency. 

Once that was finished, we added over 12 inches of TruSoft blown-in cellulose insulation throughout the attic. Lastly, we installed ComfortTherm® Insulation to one area of the attic wall.
