Pavement Ants Infest a Home in Toms River, NJ

We went out on a service call for a homeowner in Toms River, NJ after he contacted Cowleys complaining of ants in his bathroom and kitchen. Upon inspection, we found pavement ants crawling on and around the bathroom window sill. Some ants still had wings from recently spawning. Pavement ants commonly nest under pavement — hence their clever name. They are dark brown to black in color and make their way inside our homes to feed on sweets, proteins, and even dead insects.
