Photo Album: Attic Filled with Raccoon Feces in Little Egg Harbor, NJ
After safely removing the raccoons from this home, we had to clean up this gigantic mess they made.
Hidden Behind this Wall
The homeowner didn't know the extent of the raccoon damage until he began renovating the upstairs spare room and discovered the damage inside!
What a Mess
The raccoon defecated all over the place, tore apart insulation, and ripped down some of the exterior drywall.
Plethora of Diseases
There is a number of diseases that raccoons carry, most infamous is Raccoon Roundworm (Baylisascaris procyonis). We needed to remove everything carefully.
So we carefully removed all the contaminated materials in the attic space.
And then disinfected the area.
Good as New
Now that the attic area has been cleaned and disinfected, the homeowner can resume with his renovations.
