We were sent out to the home of a new customer in Dunellen, NJ, to treat for termites. The damage was spotted in the garage, so that's where we inspected. Sure enough, during our inspection, we found multiple active termite mud tubes throughout the garage. Mud tubes are pencil-width size tubes, made by the worker termites, that the termites use to travel to and from their nest when foraging for food. First, with the owner's permission, we drilled into the concrete floor of the garage as well as around the exterior of the garage. After that, we injected a liquid termiticide throughout the interior and around exterior of the garage and, at the owner's request, around the entire exterior perimeter of the home. This application binds to the treated soil and creates a protective zone that the termites cannot detect. Once the termites come in contact with the application, they bring it back to their colony and then transfer it to one another. The application then spreads like a virus throughout the colony, and in a short amount of time, the termites are exterminated!Garage is Torn Up by Termites in Dunellen, NJ
