Maintenance Shop Needs Help Keeping the Pigeons Out in Lawrenceville, NJ

The owner of this auto shop in Lawrenceville, NJ had a bit of a conundrum. There wasn't any A/C in his shop, so he kept the garage doors open while servicing the vehicles to keep cool. The problem was that pigeons kept flying inside the shop and defecating all over the place. He didn't want to close the doors because it would get too hot in the shop but also didn't want the pigeons to nest in his work area. So he called Bird Solutions by Cowleys and we were sent out. 

First, we carefully removed all of the pigeon nesting debris and then disinfected the areas with a solution that eliminates bird mites. Once that was completed, we installed a roll up screen door made out of bird netting over each one of the garage doors. Bird netting is a 3/4 inch, heavy duty polyethylene bird netting that's used to humanely block the pigeons from entering any unwanted areas. It creates an impenetrable barrier that denies them, as well as all nuisance birds, the access to this area and removes the landing areas for them. Now the workers can keep the doors open and stay cool without worrying about pigeons pooping on them.
